Return Policy? We have zero interest in anyone owning a piece from L&J that they don't look forward to wearing every day. If you are unhappy with anything you receive, please reach out within 30 days for a full refund or exchange. 

Can I get these pieces wet? Exposing your gold filled jewelry to water, chlorine  and sweat may damage the metal and attract more dirt and grime over a long period of time. When compared to a piece that hasn't been exposed to these elements. Will it tarnish or discolor immediately after being exposed to water? No.

Ultimately, sleeping, showering and sweating in your pieces is up to you! They will not instantly discolor or start to turn you green! Gold fill doesn't do that. But will your pieces last longer and maintain their original luster way longer when you don't expose them to those elements? Yes.

Please live in them how you want! Get yourself a Sunshine Polishing Cloth and understand if you wear a necklace 24/7 for years.. it may eventually give out on you.

What is gold fill? Gold fill is steps above gold plating, yet still isn't solid gold. A layer of 12k or 14k gold is permanently bonded to a brass core. This allows for the tarnish free benefit and a beautiful, classic look of real gold, without having to pay the cost of solid gold. Typically gold plated jewelry will contain the thinnest layer possible of gold. Gold filled jewelry has a higher gold content.
